2020 saw the rise of covid but for movie lovers, a nuke had been dropped by

director Rohit Shetty of Bollywood. The trailer of the movie was a solid evidence of the nuke, it broke the like counter and smashed its way up to the list of most viewed film trailer in just 18 hours with a view count of 41.70 million views. It replaced its predecessor Zero(Starring Shah Rukh Khan,Katrina Kaif,Anushka Sharma)with an excess of 8.4 million views. Yes, the movie is Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar,Ajay Devgan, Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh.

SYNOPSIS

Showing a recount of 1993 Mumbai blasts, the film opens with the death of parents of DCP and ATS chief Veer "Surya" Sooryavanshi, who later finds out that a Lashkar chief and terrorist Omar Hafeez is planning more attacks. He has formed a sleeper cell network consisting of 40 terrorists who pose as Indians to set more bombings after the 26/11 Attacks, one of whom is his son Riyaz Hafeez. In Jaisalmer, Surya and his team nab Riyaz who had a different identity there. Surya's senior Kabir Shroff reveals about a full ton of RDX being brought to India, of which 400 kilograms were used during those bombings and the remnant 600 kilograms are still buried somewhere in India. Its a race against time to see whether good or evil gains victory.

Still don't let the numbers fool you,  experience it. The first part drops the anticipated hype, but it quickly recovers and during the last hour it delivered its blockbuster performance. The last scene is what carried the film through. The trio of Singham,Simmba, Sooryavanshi tore the box office accumulating 191 crore rupees till date and its still counting.
